Welfare Reform (Further Provision) (Scotland) Act 2012 receives Royal Assent

New Act allows Scottish Ministers to make regulations following refusal of legislative consent for Welfare Reform Act 2012

 

On 7 August 2012 The Welfare Reform (Further Provision) (Scotland) Act 2012 received Royal Assent.

The Act, which received Royal Assent, allows Scottish Ministers to make regulations in consequence of the UK Welfare Reform Act 2012 for devolved purposes following the Scottish Parliament's refusal of legislative consent to the UK Act.

The Welfare Reform (Further Provision) (Scotland) Act 2012 is available from legislation.gov.uk
