Survey on Self Directed Support - Call for Amendment to SDS Bill

The Scottish Disability Equality Forum, Capability Scotland, Independent Living in Scotland, SDSS and Inclusion Scotland are seeking to gather further information on how Local Authority decisions on care and support for disabled people are made, and the processes involved in appealing those decisions.  

The information gathered from this survey will:

  • support calls for greater involvement from disabled people in how final decisions on social care are made
  • guide each organization in its work to ensure that the Scottish Parliament’s final SDS bill works effectively and fairly for disabled people.
