Self-Directed Support: Changing Support Changing Lives Qualification

The Changing Support Changing Lives constortium, is funded by the Scottish Government to increase social care providers ability to deliver Self-Directed Support.

As part of the programme the consortium have developed an accredited course by the Scottish Qualifications Agency on the delivery of personalised support, leading to a Practice Higher National Qualification or Professional Development Award.

The course will aim to give participants an understanding of personalisation and how to deliver support through a Self-Directed approach.

Taster sessions are being delivered to give participants an overview of the expectations of the course, these will be run on the following dates in the locations:

31st July 2012-Glasgow

26th September 2012-Irvine

25th October 2012-Aberdeen

8th November 2012-Argyll & Bute

5th February 2013-Glasgow

19th February 2013-Argyll & Bute

19th March 2013-Irvine
