UPDATE is Scotland's National Disability Information Service. We provide a comprehensive membership package of disability information, resources and other supporting services to enable any type of organisation to provide reliable, relevant and up-to-date disability information to their clients.

UPDATE also provides general information to organisations and members of the public both on its web site and via its helpline. This web site offers a range of information from commonly asked questions through to equipment information, holiday information and local sources of help and advice.

Launch of DWP public information film to tackle mental health discrimination in the workplace

A public information film designed to challenge employer assumptions about mental health has been launched. The film - directed by Bharat Nalluri, director of TV dramas Hustle, Spooks and Life on Mars, and including a voiceover by actor Philip Glenister from Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes – will air across national television over the coming months.
